Being a LoL player is tough. No matter how good of a player you are, you may still have to carry your team and to win a match like that, you need to have an edge over the others. What can get you an edge over the others except for your skills? Your gaming hardware! This is why you need the Best Mouse for League of Legends to improve your Gaming Experience and to carry those imbeciles in your team!
We have reviewed some of the top keyboards for LoL too and you can find them by going to the Gaming Keyboards section through the top menu if you’re interested in having the best setup for yourself. If you’re here for only the gaming mouse for LoL then no issue, we got you covered!
Before moving into the reviews we need to know what are the things that make a mouse good enough to buy and use in the battle for victory. There are several factors which we will discuss below and once we are done with knowing what is required, we can move on to the reviews of the best mice for League of Legends and you can then choose yourself which mouse is good enough for you (even if you can’t, we will tell you which one is our personal choice)!
Things you need to know before buying a Gaming Mouse for LoL
As said earlier, there are several factors that come into play when looking at a gaming mouse. You need to have a mouse that fits your hands properly, has side buttons for you to switch your weapons easily (or do some other task), change the DPI on the go, visually appealing (you can’t compromise with the appearance), and many more. Let’s discuss them first.
The most important factor when buying anything (be it a mouse, a GPU, or something totally unrelated to this article), you check for the price. If the product fits your budget, then only you think about buying it. Keeping this in mind, we have reviewed some of the best mice for LoL which are affordable for us all. There are some expensive ones too but as you can guess, the expensive ones will provide you better performance and will last longer.
Size and Design
It is important that the mouse has a proper size so that it fits your hand and you can use your preferred grip type (be it fingertip grip, claw grip, palm grip). Some people have smaller hands and require the mouse to be a bit small in size and some have bigger hands and require it to be a bit bigger so they use their preferred grip type.
Other than the size, the design or the body of the mouse should be good enough so that it doesn’t feel odd in your hand. Some people prefer Ambidextrous mice because.. well, you can use it with both your hands so, why not?
The design also includes the buttons it has and if they are properly placed on the body so you can press them without hindrance, etc. Along with that, it needs to be ergonomically shaped so it is efficient and moves properly on the surface you are using.
Weight is another important factor that comes into play when buying a gaming mouse for League of Legends as it affects the movement of your hand. Some people prefer very lightweight mice and some prefer to have it bulky. It varies from person to person but worry not, we will tell you the weight of each mouse so you can choose for yourself. We personally are a fan of mice that lie in between. Not too heavy and not too light.
This is another very important factor. Click Latency is the time it takes for your clicks to register. It is the time between when you press the button and when the action actually occurs in the game (not taking the ping into the picture). The lower the click latency the faster your clicks get registered, the better your gaming experience. Wireless mice tend to have a little higher click latency while the wired mice tend to provide a much lower click latency.
These were all the important factors you need to take care of. Be assured that all the mice on this review are the top ones and you won’t actually have to put in efforts to choose a mouse because we will be picking the best one out of all the ones we review, so, if you don’t know much about mice, leave it to us and you won’t be disappointed! Let’s start with the reviews now, shall we?
Best Mouse for League of Legends (LoL)
Razer DeathAdder v2 Review (Best Budget Mouse for League of Legends)
A lot of other articles recommend the Razer DeathAdder Elite but since it is kinda outdated, we present you the Razer DeathAdder v2. The DeathAdder v2 is almost similar to the DeathAdder Elite in looks and feel but differs in a few things like the cable it has, profile switch button, etc. Like the older version, the body is well built and simplistic.
This right-handed mouse comes with a total of 8 buttons (10 programmable inputs including the scroll) which is a good thing as you will be needing the side buttons to switch from one weapon to another. The best part is the re-programmability of all the buttons. It gives you a click latency of 7ms which is pretty low. With click latency that low, you can be assured that your clicks will get registered as they should without any delays.
It has a DPI ranging from 100 up to 20,000 which is quite a high number. Most of us don’t use DPI higher than 12,000 but this is crazy (and one of the highest in the market)! You can easily customize what DPI settings you like and be ready for the game in a few clicks. Another upgrade this mouse has from the previous version is that it now comes with an on-board memory giving you the ability to save the profile in the mouse itself! Plug and play with your favorite settings in any system without the software!
The cable this mouse comes with is much better than that of the previous version. It is much more flexible and much easier to handle. Another good thing about this mouse is that it suits all hand sizes and can work with almost all the grip types making it an optimum choice for gamers who don’t know their hand size and preferred grip type.
- 10 Programmable Inputs
- Low click latency of 7ms
- DPI range of 100 to 20,000
- Onboard Memory
- Works with all Hand sizes and almost all grip types
- Flexible cable
- Weighs 113 grams with wire and 83 grams without wire
Glorious Model O Review
The Glorious Model O is an amazing mouse and my personal favorite when it comes to appearance, weight, and price. It weighs extremely low and doesn’t cost too much. It is an Ambidextrous wired mouse with an aesthetically appealing body which is not only good appearance wise but also feels good in your hands. You can tell by the name that the owner of the company is a hardcore PC gamer (Long live the Glorious PC Gaming Race!).
Coming to the mouse itself, it has a total of 6 programmable buttons (all the normal buttons and 2 side buttons) which is what we desire in a gaming mouse. It has a click latency of 13ms which is not the best but not too bad either. If you’re not a very very competitive gamer, this should be fine. The mouse has an optical sensor that works with almost all surfaces. The DPI of this mouse ranges from 400 and goes up to 12,000!
The best part about this mouse is that it weighs only 67 grams (without wire) which is pretty light and hence the movement becomes pretty fast! It also has a nice size and ambidextrous design so it works with all the hand sizes and almost all the grip types no matter if you’re right-handed or left-handed. It may be a little big for those with small hands but there’s a minus version of the same mouse. The mouse comes with a software that lets you customize everything starting from RGB lights, the DPI, the functionality of the buttons, etc. All in all, it is a good enough piece of hardware.
- Total 6 programmable buttons
- Click latency of 13ms
- DPI ranging from 400 to 12,000
- Weighs only 67 grams (without wire)
- Ambidextrous Design
- Good for all hand sizes and grip types
- Smooth movement and flexible cable
- Tonnes of customizability

It has a nice build and is very comfortable when using and is highly portable due to its size and the fact that it is wireless. You will have 2 side buttons on each side of the mouse since it is Ambidextrous. This mouse weighs only 82 grams in wireless mode and 117 grams along with the cable. The cable it comes with has a rubber coating that sticks to the surface and you may face some drag. SteelSeries Rival 600 Review (Amazon’s Choice)
The Rival 600 is the latest updated mouse from SteelSeries and is their top mouse right now. It is an amazing gaming mouse with a sturdy build. It is a little big in size and people with smaller hands may find it hard to access all the buttons so if you have a little smaller hands, go for some other mouse. This mouse also has a wireless version that goes by the name Rival 650 wireless. The Rival 650 is a good alternative to the Logitech G Pro Wireless and is a little cheaper too!
This mouse comes with a total of 7 buttons (9 programmable inputs) with 3 buttons on the side. Using the software it comes with, you can customize the scroll up and down too and program them according to your choice. The software allows you to do tonnes of customizations which we will cover in a moment. The click latency of the mouse is 13 ms which is not the best in the market. The DPI ranges from 100 to 12,000 which is the sweet spot for most of us.
The mouse weighs around 140 grams including the wire and without the extra weights. Yes, this mouse comes with customizable weight, i.e., 8 extra weights each weighing around 4 grams. This may come in handy. The mouse works with medium and large hand sizes and supports all grip types. For people with smaller hands, it’s better to go with some other mouse. It comes with a lot of customizability and lets you change the DPI, polling rate, profiles, RGB, etc. it also features an on-board memory similar to almost all the mice in this range. All in all, it is a pretty good mouse.
