Let’s start with the Letsfit Review with its design. Irrespective of anything the first thing that you are going to notice about a smartwatch or a fitness tracker is how it looks and let me tell you the Letsfit ID152 Fitness Tracker looks truly awesome on practically anyone’s wrist. The fit band exhibits a pretty sporty design with slim edges and looks quite like the Charge 4 from Fitbit.
Boasting a 0.96-inch screen the watch is capable of displaying all the details about your body that you need to track in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The long rectangular screen might not be the largest one that you will find on a fitness tracker but surely is large enough to cover all the needs. In terms of quality, the screen is bright enough and you should be able to see everything on it even in bright daylight thanks to the vibrant colors and crisp text.
One thing that is a bit of a bummer though is the fact that the screen is not a touch one and is only controllable via a touch-sensitive button that is placed near the bottom. Long presses and short presses of the button triggers different functions and allows you to traverse through the Letsfit Fitness Tracker’s menus and options. The strap is completely removable and has two parts and is available in a wide range of colors to suit your personality and style. Whether it be black, purple, ping, or blue you can choose from either one. The built-in heart rate monitor is always displayed on the screen and thanks to the USB charging port, you can be sure that the LetsFit fitness tracker never runs out of juice.
All you need to do is plug in a micro USB cable in the port from a wall socket or a device like a PC or a laptop. One thing I found is that the charging port is very conveniently placed in order to make the device waterproof- it is placed on one end of the device where the strap connects so what you need to do is pull the strap off and you are ready to charge your device.
Moving on to the build quality, hands-on, the Letsfit Fitness Tracker ID152 feels quite stiff and tough. I tried wearing the thing for a couple of weeks and to my surprise, neither did I find any major scratches on the screen nor did the straps soften up even after all-day use. The strap seems tough and durable too but one thing you should know is that the device comes with a single strap that is adjustable up to a certain point and so the device might not fit perfectly on the wrist for everyone.
The waterproof feature and the IP68 water-resistant rating might seem alluring at first but let me remind you that this device right here is still a budget device. Now do not get me wrong, the Letsfit Fitness Tracker is indeed water-resistant but only up to a certain point. It is fine if you wash your hands with the thing still on your wrist or get caught in the rain on a random afternoon or even if you soak in sweat after a rough and intense workout.

Let’s be real here nowadays mobile devices like smartphones, fitness trackers, and fit bands heavily rely on a powerful battery to be functional and efficient so it is important to never buy a device that skimps out on battery life. Fortunately, this is not the case with the Letsfit Fitness Tracker ID152 which uses a Lithium battery with a capacity of 90 mAh which should be enough to let you run the fit band for a long time.
The manufacturer estimates a battery life of 10 days on a single full charge but in practical scenarios I expected it to be a bit less but I was proved wrong since the thing worked pretty well and the battery lasted for about 13 days after a full charge. The charging time is not that much too. To fully charge the device you will only need about an hour or so which means you can just plug this baby in before you hit the gym and your tracker will be ready to go.

The thing costs only a few dollars and there is not that much you can expect but considering the Letsfit Fitness Tracker price, the tracking features are quite accurate to a certain degree and they seem to roughly give you an estimate of the actual numbers. In terms of capability, the Letsfit tracker is capable of tracking all the basic fitness metrics including your daily steps, your calorie count, and also the distance traveled. Along with that, the fitness band comes with a built-in sleep tracker and a heart rate monitoring system which seems to be pretty fair in terms of accuracy. Setting up the device is quite easy and the interface is quite user-friendly too.
The menu allows you to select from a plethora of sports and workout modes (up to 14) depending on the type of task that will be doing wearing the thing which makes the Letsfit Fitness Tracker one of the best companions while hitting the gym or going out for a jog or a walk in the park.
Out of the 14 different sports and workout modes, you can have only three of them active at a time and you can do that pretty simply. All you need to do is install the VeryFit Pro app from the Apple Store or Google Play if you are an android user. Some of the does include – walk, run, bikes, and more. As I already mentioned the accuracy with any of the modes is sub-par at best.
Nonetheless, the step tracker does quite a nice job at counting your steps and measuring the total distance traveled but to be honest the numbers still seemed a bit underreported. The mobile app of the fitness tracker lets you configure and enter your stride length for more accurate tracking but even after tweaking it several times, the problem still persisted.
The ID152 didn’t do a great job with tracking step count or distance—it underreported on both, but it did so somewhat consistently. You actually can adjust your stride length for the ID152 in the app, but it still underreported my steps even after I tweaked it several times.
Coming to the heart rate monitoring system, the fitness band can be set up to track your heart rate on its own throughout the day automatically or can also switch off the feature to save and preserve battery life. Now speaking about the tracking, the heart rate numbers were not off base all the time and did a pretty good job I must say.
Comparing with the reading on my Fitbit and Apple Watch the heart rate tracking was pretty dead-on accurate most of the time. The rest of the time the device reports the heart rate strangely higher than usual. I could not get to the root of the problem but it seems that it happened due to the fact that the tracker did not fit my wrists correctly.
To this day I still could not find a fitness tracker that is accurate when it comes to sleep tracking and this one did not cut the deal either. Simply speaking the LetsFit Fitness Tracker ID152 is not that great when it comes to sleep tracking since it was mostly unable to recognize my sleep patterns well and was for some reason unable to differentiate between naps and sleeps during non-traditional hours. The only thing that I found accurate were the timings when I fell asleep and the timings when I woke up from sleep.
The LetsFit Fitness Tracker is compatible with all iOS and Android devices and can connect to smartphones via LetsFit’s own app called the VeryFit Pro app. The app connects to all your Letsfit fitness trackers and smartwatches and lets you control their settings and features more conveniently. Since the options and menus on the actual device are very limited you will need to app access all the other settings of the fitness band and to turn on all the notifications and alerts from your phone.
On connecting to your smartphone, the Letsfit Fitness Tracker ID152 allows you to enable push notifications for emails, reminders, texts, incoming calls, and other messaging applications and social media apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, and Instagram. To be honest this is a pretty nice feature to have on a budget fitness tracker and I seriously did not expect this device to have it.
While connected, once you receive a notification on your phone it appears on the screen of the fitness band, and as soon as you tap that touch-sensitive button the notifications disappear at once. Other than notifications and calls, the fitness tracker also offers alarm alerts which you need to set within the VeryFit Pro app.
In the settings section of the app for the Letsfit fitness tracker, you can find options like device language, stride length, watch face, and many others. The fact that the settings are available only on the phone application is quite inconvenient and I would have preferred some options to directly accessible from the device itself like the brightness options since it is quite annoying to always open up the app every time you need to turn on the do-not-disturb mode or change the brightness settings.
A very useful feature that I found in the application is the shutter feature that lets you remotely capture photos from your smartphone’s camera. This one really comes in handy while you are click pictures with groups of friends or family. The only problem I had with the thing is the inaccuracies with the tracking modes and other than that the notifications and alerts were not bad.
