Camera Review – Nubia Z17 Mini Review
Nubia Z17 comes with the exciting, trendy dual camera setup which is one of the highlights of the smartphone. Nubia features dual 13 MP, f/1.8 in the rear and a 16 MP in the front which assures those sharp and crisp images. You can also get that nifty bokeh effect.
There is also regular, and pro mode of the camera allows you to use the high-end customizable features like portrait mode, viewfinder & lot more.
A lot of exciting tricks could be pulled out with features like a slow shutter, multi-exposure and light painting. Long shutters work with shooting moving objects or like running water or something. So there is a lot to play with that shutter speed setting of the camera.
The camera gives some smooth colors surprisingly. You will also be amazed by the clone function where you can clone one person into multiple times in one frame. Video recording is impressive as you get 1080p and 4K recording @ 30fps and @60fps as well.
Display, Connectivity & Battery – Review of Nubia Z17 Mini
The optical advancement for which the device has gone did work! However, with the LCD panel, you can notice some distortion spots along the edges of the display. If that doesn’t bother you much, it will not bother you at all. But we still need to mention that nothing much new is offered on that behalf.
The device again inherited some of the drawbacks from its predecessor. Nubia uses 5.2 inches screen and full HD (1080 x 1920px) panel along with pixel density around 403ppi.
Connectivity is entirely fulfilled with Nubia smartphone as it provides Dual-SIM (nano-sims), 2G/3G/4G along with Cat LTE. It has no FM radio but does have an IR blaster. You only get USB Type-C and OTG options further. There is nothing fancy or much updated to offer like from OnePlus 6.
Nubia Z17 comes with the battery of 2950mAh where it has the endurance rating of 81 hours. It is finally something with which you compare Nubia with its rival OnePlus. There are 13:16 hours of web browsing, 3G talk time of 19: 04 hours and video playback of 12: 26 hour.
